Pretty bright for AA batteries.

Do you want to see or do you want to be seen? That is the question. Because this light is noticeably brighter than its Beamer 5 cousin, but I've noticed that it seems to project a more focused beam down the road which is better for seeing the road in front of you, but I wonder if it makes the Blaze less visible to people who aren't directly in your path. Different strokes for different folks. With no wires or chargers, it's an impressively bright, affordable and convenient light.

Great light if you don''t ride in the rain

Ive used this light for almost a year. Puts out a nice beam. High beam is adequate for fast descents with lithium batteries. After riding through the night in a heavy rain, the next day it would turn itself on. Needed to take the batteries out to keep it off during the day. Next evening when I put the batteries back in, it would cycle between on and flash mode by itself. After having several days to dry out, seems to function adequately, although you can see residual water stains inside the lens. Doesn't seem to affect light output that much.

Excellent all-round front beamer

I think this is an excellent all around headlight. I get good projection and coverage with the high beam, the flasher is useful, and clamp reasonably stable. I could imagine the mount shifting around on really rough terrain, but I like being able to make micro-adjustments without releasing the clamp. I can work the button with gloved hands. Nice overall build quality, not too spendy.

Bright Headlight, Good Value

Strong enough to provide some roadway illumination on dark streets and stand out in urban traffic.
