As light as Latex. Excellent quality.

Most of the cheaper tubes have a lot of variability in wall thickness and a considerably higher defect rate. Many of the cheaper no-name tubes I've purchased at my local bike shops have had weak seams or thin spots that resulted in quick or immediate flats. If you're only carrying one spare, this can be a real pain.

Even though these tubes are considerably lighter than most, I've had fewer flats and no obvious defects with these tubes. Definitely worth a little extra money.

Michelin Quality

I use Michelin tubes because they work. There are lighter tubes out there but these wont let you down because a seam ruptured or a valve stem ripped out. Consistent quality, predictable performance and safety you can depend on.

Try the rest if you must - then get the best.

If you want the best combination of low weight, reliability, performance smooth valve stems, quality and value then get these. Not so thin that pinch flats will be a problem. Perfect weight for racing. Ample durability for training. Hold pressure well for several days. I have tried ALL the rest. The only thing you can't do is remove the valve core but I don't ever do this. The least compromise of all available tubes with the best overall performance. What more could you want?

Lightweight tube

This is not the lightest tube but definitely the lightest and most durable with a great price to match. This is my go to tube to compliment my high end carbon wheels.

Bulletproof tubes.

Been using these for awhile. They result in an excellent ride.

They don't flat from steel belted tire wires on the road. At least until you change tires in case you are putting the old tire on another wheel.

And they can be patched with REMA patches. I've done that several times.

Fabulous tubes

These tubes are durable lightweight and hold for several days without needing any added air and the grooveless stems are an added bonus. My previous tubes needed to pumped every other day. Love the tubes....bought Four and will be buying more to stock up!! Go ahead and buy them you won't be disappointed.

The only tube I can find with a smooth stem.

Seems to hold up well. I buy it mainly for the smooth stem, it doesn't have threads that rip up my pump gasket and the smooth stem seals better.

Excellent tubes...been using them for over 10 years with almost no problems.

Big fan of these as it took several tries with other brands before I finally found these. Have no plans of switching anytime soon.

Lightweight tubes, with non-threaded stems.

Lightweight durable tubes that I've been using for years. Besides their weight & durability, I really like the non-threaded stems. They are great for airing up your tires, I can attach my Joe Blow pump without engaging the lock lever & pump the tires to 115 PSI, pull off the pump head & your good to go. Fast, easy!

I won't use anything else!

I started using these about a year ago, and I absolutely love them. What more can I say, they are a great lightweight tire! The non-threaded valve stems are nice, and they seem to be easier to seat when mounting the tire. My flats have probably gone down by about 60% since I started using these tires.

A good unthreaded light weight tube.

I prefer unthreaded tubes because they don't chew up the gasket on my Silca pump. I generally use these tubes because they are pretty light as butyl tubes go. I have had a couple fail where the valve stem is joined to the tube. I use these to train for an ride century distance rides in season. BTD has the best prices I have found on these, especially if you buy 5 or so at once.

Best tubes out there, long lasting and easy to work with. No issues at all!

Michelin makes the best tires and tubes for the price and the stems are easy to work with when inflating unlike others who leak or break. I've been using Michelin for 20 years and will never change unless I win the lotto and can afford the premium tubes and tires that are out there...

I have used these tubes for 30 years and have always had good luck. Quality is good, longevity is great, light weight, good puncture resistance and the smooth walled valve stem doesn't chew up the chuck on my tire pump. A great value.

Non threaded valve stem

Just a note of caution. These presta valves are non threaded so that if you carry one as a spare and a CO2 cartridge, you may have trouble attaching cartridge to the valve if is a screw on type .

Not what it used to be.

I used to think that Michelin made the best tubes, but I think something's changed in their manufacturing. I've had two of the last set of tubes that I purchased fail early, one at the valve stem and one developed a hole on the rim side of the tube. There was nothing that punctured it. I'm looking for a different tube.

Valve stems faulty

I will not buy these ever again, I have had lots of flats with them doing just regular 50 mile bike rides, 3 times per week, on my road bike, and 3 of the 8 tubes, had faulty valves, and leak air when trying to pump them up, right out of the box. I will never buy these again.

Bad Valves

Bought six of these tubes. Had a flat on the first ride. Replaced it on the road, that one flated within a mile. Got a tube from a fellow rider so I was able to get home. Next tube of the bunch deflated overnight. The tube used to replace that one wouldn't even take air. So I inflated all of them and did the water test to discover the problem all four had valves that leaked. I've used these tubes before with no problems, so I don't know if it was a bad manufacturing run or what, but I won't trust them again.

lightweight but not durable and probably dangerous

I got a few of these to save some more weight on my road bike.

Installed one, inflated and while working on another bike i hear an explosion. the tube blew up. put it another one, inflate it, pulling the pump valve the tube just ripped so another one was gone within 5 minutes.

Decided to suck up the additional grams and stick with standard tubes - no issue with these so far (and have been riding for 20 years).

So overall i think the value is very low and in some cases these tubes are probably dangerous.

Happy riding!
