The open and aggressive tread design gives the High Roller II excellent soil penetration and mud clearing ability. A square profile provides a solid, consistent feel across the knobs. Modified knobs on the shoulder and center improve braking performance and traction on hard surfaces.

Maxxis produces this tire in few different rubber compounds -- this one is the strongest of the bunch, featuring the downhill-specific 3C Maxx Grip rubber compound and a two ply casing for excellent traction and strength. It's designed to be run front or rear.
