Mavic Crossmax ST Disc 26 Inch Wheelset

At 1590 grams for the set, the Crossmax ST Disc wheels are lighter than ever for competitive XC performance, yet strong enough for all mountain and beyond.

Mavic has shaved 35 grams per rim thanks to a new rim extrusion process, but their Maxtal alloy remains as tough and stiff as ever. The 23mm rim width also adds strength, while simultaneously providing a more substantial tire footprint for improved handling. Inter Spoke Milling knocks off a few more grams, removing excess material without sacrificing durability. Finally, Mavic's fore drilling technique creates a rim bed with no spoke holes to further the weight reduction, increase durability and make tubeless tire installation easier than ever.

Round Zicral alloy straight spokes are incredibly strong and light, with 20 front, laced 2 cross, and 24 rear, laced in Mavic's Isopulse pattern (radial drive side; 2 cross non drive). Beefy alloy hubs with chunky flanges run on Mavic's top quality QRM+ bearings. The ITS-4 alloy freehub body provides fast engagement for instant power transfer.

The Crossmax ST Disc Wheelset is compatible with UST tubeless tires and standard 6-bolt disc rotors. The front wheel is designed for 15mm thru-axle forks but can be adapted for use with standard quick release skewers (9x100mm) or 20mm thru-axles using adapter kits which are sold separately. Standard quick release rear (10x135mm) is also compatible with 12x135mm and 142mm thru-axles right out of the box. Shimano/SRAM 8/9/10 Speed compatible. 26 inch (19-559 ISO). 1590 grams/set (claimed).
