Comfortable Shorts

Just rode 200 miles/day for 2 days in a row in these shorts. As comfortable as any I've worn. They seem to fit a tighter than other mediums that I've owned. I am sure large would be too big for me, but if you are an in-between size, may want to size up.

My current favorite cycling short- comfortable, well made, and durable.

I have owned many brands of cycling shorts over the years cannondale, pearl izumi, demarchi, castelli, and assos. These are my current favorite. Super comfortable synthetic chamy, extremely well made, great sweat wicking ability, and durable fabric.

My favorite shorts I have.

I use these shorts for my 40 plus rides. Really like them out of all the shorts I have had.

Best chamois in the price range.

For me, this short has the best chamois in the price range. It's not too thick, doesn't rub anywhere, and is my go-to short for any rides over 50 miles. I like everthing about the short except it rides a bit too high on the waist.

Well made, high quality bike short

I use these shorts on 20-30 mile bike rides a couple of times per week. They are very comfortable and wick the sweat away well. I have tried all of the major brands and these shorts are my favorite.

Very tight around the gentlemans parts!

At first I found them very uncomfortable when not on the bike, but great when riding. The have loosened their grip on my privates somewhat and are much better. Very good on long rides.

Love the length

What stands out about these shorts for me is the length. I have very long legs and these are the longest shorts I have ever owned. Otherwise, I find them comparable to other quality shorts I have had. Due to the length, I guess, they are superior at holding up my leg warmers. I haven't worn these in the heat of summer yet but don't expect any problem there.

These shorts have a drawstring which I have never had before and don't see the point of. Like, are they going to slide down? On the other hand, perhaps I do have to put them up a bit more than other shorts so maybe I need to futz with the string. I thought the perceived slippage was just due to the extra weight I found over the winter.

Best I have tried

Extra length inseam makes for better compression & comfort. Chamois is very nice.

My Favorite Shorts

Just bought my third pair of the neo power shorts. Like the compression fit, like the length, and the LG's just fit me right (5-11 and 165 lbs and I wear a medium). I have found the quality to be high relative to some other brand shorts I've purchased. I generally ride in the 30-50 mile range and find the comfort excellent. A little hot on a very hot day - it's a fairly heavy material.

Great shorts

I ride about 7k miles a year. I'm 6'6, 180lbs, 34 waist. I ordered a M. It fits just right. I really like compression shorts. I bot a pair of Skins and a pair of 2XU about a year and a half ago, and have worn them perhaps 50 to 60 times each. Now the Garneau. I've only done one 50 mile ride on them. They compare well with both the others, and at about two-thirds of the price, are a better buy. The material of the G. seems a bit thicker, the pad, which is quit comfy, about the same. The G. holds up my knee warmers quite well, better than the 2XU. I don't know how they will wear yet. The 2XU's are worn out, the seam in the rear is coming loose and the logos are coming off, and they seem to have stretched out some. The Skins look almost new, but are more expensive and I can't seem to find any to buy. I like the Garneau so well I've just ordered a second pair. I hope they wear well.

Comfy and good looking what else would you want?

The chamois is cushiony but not too bulky. You're safe.

Black goes with everything, and the lack of a bib simplifies nature stops. There's a reason black shorts are OG cycle wear.

Garneau's leg bands make your legs look good, even when they don't. If your quads have seen too much sun (my problem) or they're not quite lean, you don't have a narrow elastic band calling attention to it. The grip is distributed over a larger area.

Shorts offer great leg support and a comfortable seating panel. Material holds help well through multiple washings.

I use this for all rides over 15 miles, s well as Triathlons Olympic distance and longer.

Longer leg panels provide greater compression on thigh areas, which i believe contribute to over all comfort on longer rides.

Best pair I own

Excellent fit. Has a longer inseam, which is especially nice, giving compression over more of the thigh. Very comfortable and excellent chamois.

Terrific Short. Good for the long haul.

I've been happy enough with these that I recently bought a second pair. They fit well, and do a good job supporting muscle tissue. I like that the openings grip well and don't ride up without the use of elastic. The chamois has also been really comfortable, and isn't so thick that you feel like you are wearing a diaper.

You get what you expect at this price point

Strong compression in the quads, I really like the lack of a gripper hem, far more comfortable and it still stays in place. The pad isn't too bulky and the white on white isn't as gaudy as I thought it would be. Wish they would have had more of my size in stock, would have bought a second pair.

Great Pair of Shorts

I've always worn Perl before. I thought I would try something different. I was not disappointed. These are high-quality shorts that fit well. The chamois is superb.

They have a snug fit, but that is what makes these comfortable. My waist is in the 34-inch range, and size large is what fit me.
