I ride about 7k miles a year. I'm 6'6, 180lbs, 34 waist. I ordered a M. It fits just right. I really like compression shorts. I bot a pair of Skins and a pair of 2XU about a year and a half ago, and have worn them perhaps 50 to 60 times each. Now the Garneau. I've only done one 50 mile ride on them. They compare well with both the others, and at about two-thirds of the price, are a better buy. The material of the G. seems a bit thicker, the pad, which is quit comfy, about the same. The G. holds up my knee warmers quite well, better than the 2XU. I don't know how they will wear yet. The 2XU's are worn out, the seam in the rear is coming loose and the logos are coming off, and they seem to have stretched out some. The Skins look almost new, but are more expensive and I can't seem to find any to buy. I like the Garneau so well I've just ordered a second pair. I hope they wear well.
