With the Look Keo Blade Carbon Ti Pedals, the creators of the first ever road clipless pedal have once again revolutionized the road pedal by replacing the pedal's metal spring with a carbon one, offering incredible weight savings. The carbon spring may look brittle and exposed, but it's actually very hard to break. In the rare event that the spring does break, it is also easily replaceable.

The carbon fiber body is similar to that of the Keo 2 line, with increased surface area on top with a low stack height and great cornering clearance. The pedal features a stainless steel cleat plate to keep the cleat from chewing away at the lightweight carbon body. In addition, Look has increased the spindle diameter, for longer bearing life and the ability to use a titanium spindle with no rider weight limit.

Look pairs a cartridge bearing with a needle bearing to balance load, ensure long life and smooth operation. Titanium spindle. Available with 12Nm or 16Nm spring tension (higher spring tension means firmer pedal retention). 188 grams/pair.

slightly easier to get in and out of comparing to my ultegra carbon pedals

very light

slightly easier to get in and out of comparing to my ultegra carbon pedals due to elevated front portion of the blade

initially worried about security as I have disengaged unintentionally

ultegra carbon slightly wider platform and slightly more comfortable

It is the Keo creak during hard effort out of saddle, otherwise I give it a 5 star rating

Probably have 300-miles on these. Got them on sale. Either you're in or your out of these babies, there's an audible click in either direction. I opted for the 12 vs the 16 tension. I'm 185lbs and have had zero issues with unintended releases. Another feature I like is that the bearing spindles seem (at least for now) to have some dampening in them. They don't just spin around. When you're trying to click-in they remain stable. No issues in the corners. The stainless footbed is a nice touch to (I hope) eliminate scoring over time and facilitate however much float you want.

LIGHT!!!!!

Very light pedal. If you consider that the speedplay's have the heavy plate mounted to the shoe - I think these are the lightest peddles out there. The function well and better yet - I don't have to think about them, they always work.

Light Weight Delight

Not cheap, and I am re- learning to actually get out of these clips, as they do not offer an adjustable spring (pilot error, not the pedals fault). Sturdy, functional, slick, and feather weight!! Winning combo.

Light, stiff, and work very well

I've been riding Keos for the past few years. When I put together a new bike, I decided I had to try a pair of the latest and greatest. These are a very clever design - using carbon fiber instead of a traditional spring. They work surprisingly well. They are very light yet always seem to be in the right position to clip in. They hold securely when sprinting and climbing out of the saddle, yet clip in and out easily. What more can you ask for - expect perhaps a lower price?
