Kenda Kross Supreme K194 Folding Tire

The tire is excellent in the dirt, it is one of the most predictable cross tires out there, it climbs extremely well, and does well on fast single track. Its road performance and rolling resistance is not the best if you are going to ride on the road as well as the street during every ride. However with that said, the tire has lasted for about 1,500 miles, which for a tire with this much dirt capabilities makes it a very good deal.

These tires do great in dry conditions. And they kind of suck in muddy conditions. I rode these at PIR for the Crosscrusade and again at PIR for the USGP and they pack on the mudd and dont let it go. I even had to stop several times to pull mudd out around my frame just to get my wheels to roll again. It was like having the brakes on. After looking at the tires other riders were on i realized i needed a smaller more open tread design. Live and learn i suppose.

All in all i like these tires. Just on dry trails.

I was a bit unsure when i ordered this tire, but was pleasantly surprised. Placed third with this tire installed at a local cross race this year. Very aggressive tread pattern. The tire is a bit heavier than others i have installed, but I do like the more aggressive tread.
