Kenda's Standard Weight Tubes are affordable and reliable. This buytl tube fits 700c or 27 inch tires with Presta or Schrader valves. The pulldown menu indicates the tube size range (i.e. 700x23/25 will fit tires from 700c x 23mm to 700c x 25mm—these tubes will also fit 27" tires as long as the width is correct), as well as the length and type of valve stem.

Good Value

It's a tube...it works. This is my tube of choice. I do some work for several friends and a non-profit so I do more tire and tube work than the average person. Never had problem with them. Reasonable price, always in stock, good value.

Reliable, all-weather commuting tube. 48mm valve length for 30mm Deep V Rimms.

So far so good - I've been riding since November on icy winter streets with Kenda Klondikes.

As always, a good buy from BTD!

Kenda tubes are great. I like the 60mm valves for ease of use with co2 inflators.

Good, basic touring tube.

Know how I know? It holds air for a lot longer than the racing tubes.

Good standard tube, no frills, great price, my go-to choice.

I ride 25 miles/day, rail trails and roads, weather permitting. With these tubes and Schwalbe Marathon 700x28c tires I have a nearly unbeatable combination for hogh mileage durability.

Great Fit

Tube really fits well. Some brands of tubes appear to be larger then necessary. That adds weight and makes it harder to replace the new tube.

Quality looks good and it went right in.

avoid this product at all cost

I was unable to get air in either of the two tubes purchased. I removed the valve core and tried again without any luck. the valve stems appear to be completely blocked. when you have a flat, this is not what you want!

Durable and great value tubes

1500 miles on these tubes and no flats. Previous tubes of the same brand flatted weekly near the stem, but those were made in China and didn't seem to have the same manufacturing quality. These tubes are made in Taiwan and quality is so much better at stem - smooth and well assembled. At this price it's a great deal!

High quality - No bursts in 300 miles so far - Easy Installation - knurled retaining ring

I buy tubes in bulk because of local markups, and because I used to go through them once or twice every couple weeks. After purchasing GatorSkin tires from Germany and these decent tubes from Kenda, I have had fantastic results. It is not certain which factor (or both) was the solution to my problem, but I can say that these Kenda tubes go in well, and have a very helpful knurled (cross-hatched threads on outside for good finger traction) retaining ring to thread down on the stem, removing any shift motion under load. This will have to be finger-tightened from time to time as you ride. They're packaged to fit easily into a cycling bag, and have classy black caps, although I'll miss my ostentatious neon green caps from my cheap tube supplier. (those tubes broke cooooonstantly). These durable tubes are good for any level of cyclist, amateur or professional. (And I take my road bike some places it really shouldn't go)

bad service

I race and ride 600k a week and go through a lot of tubes and need what I order they will send you what they want ordered kenda with removable valves and they send fixed valves this causes major headaches with extensions go somewhere else for good customer service

BikeTiresDirect.com Comments

Hi,

Thanks for your review. Unfortunately, Kenda tubes do not always come with removable valve cores, which is why we do not advertise them as having removable cores. Because so few tubes do consistently feature removable cores, we take care to specify the (usually more expensive) tubes that do in the product descriptions of those tubes, and we cannot in any way guarantee that any other tubes will have them.

I'm sorry that your experience with your order was not satisfactory. Your return mailer is on its way.

Thanks,
Stacia

Great way to make my 29er roadworthy in the off season (with tires)

Biking in the fall on the trails in my area is impossible. In the spring and fall I'm going to use these (with tires) to get a bit of road riding in.

As long as your rim width is less than the tire width, you're good to go.

Along with these tires

Cheng Shin C1390 Compressor 700c Road Tire

The setup is perfect.

Good buy

Nice light tubes that don't break the bank. So far the seem durable as any other tube I have ran with. Nothing stops the goat heads around here so pack the patch kit no matter what.

Dependable high mileage tubes at a good price.

I ride 25 miles a day most days on Rails to Trails and pavement. Durability is more important to me than extreme light- I ride for fitness, not to set records. Kenda tubes are durable and dependable.

Great tube at a very reasonable price, have been using them for several years now highly recomemded.

Tubes have done me well, average use rider at 75-125 a week, ride mostly roads with some bike paths. Do not normally patch on the road, just swap out. Any that I have patched have held fine, depending on your budget they may be considered disposable tubes. I have had one valve stem break but that would be my only complaint.

Good value tube..

I road bike a bit. Average 200 miles a week on roads that are not always clear. I use gatorskins and these tubes. Very seldom, think once this summer, did I get a flat.
