Kenda's Standard Weight Tubes are affordable and reliable. This buytl tube fits 700c or 27 inch tires with Presta or Schrader valves. The pulldown menu indicates the tube size range (i.e. 700x23/25 will fit tires from 700c x 23mm to 700c x 25mm—these tubes will also fit 27" tires as long as the width is correct), as well as the length and type of valve stem.

Received defective tube, but BTD issued instant refund.

Ordered two of these tubes. One was defective out of the box. Contacted BTD immediately and they issued an instant refund which I find very reasonable. The other tube has been holding up so far.

As Good As Any

I know that it's hard to grade tubes, but this one suits me fine. I specially like two things - the price, - and the life expectancy of the valvetube union.

Cheap, tough, holds air.

These are pretty basic tubes. Which is why I like them. I like my tubes to last through a couple patchings and these hold up well. They're a good price, are durable, and weigh a reasonable amount. They also offer them in a ton of sizes and stem lengths which is helpful.

Great Price

Our local bike shop sells tubes, however, they tend to run about $4 more each than at Biketiresdirect.com. It was nice to be able to order several spares at an affordable price.

My tubes were defective, will try something else...

One tube leaked air out of box so I ended up using the original 30 year old tube. The second tube went flat on me today with less than 50 miles on it. I removed the tire and found that nothing had punctured it. I found two holes in the tube on the rim tape side.

Performing as expected.

600 miles (so far) and no issues. Pretty much as I would expect from a Kendra tube.

My go-to tube

Price is right, and while they're not the lightest tube in the world, I've never encountered one with a defective seam or valve, and the thicker rubber gives you a little longer to dig that glass out of your tire. When I do get a flat with one of these, I patch it .. I have several of these Kenda tubes in my spares box with 6 patches in them.

Great customer service!

One tube split at the seam when installing it. Your customer service will give us credit as soon as more of these tubes are available.

Good Value

It's a tube...it works. This is my tube of choice. I do some work for several friends and a non-profit so I do more tire and tube work than the average person. Never had problem with them. Reasonable price, always in stock, good value.

the most unreliable tube ever.

Great price, but I always buy in pairs. Mostly, because at least one out of two will pop on initial inflation. I'm being very practical with this number. I have honestly bought 8 in the last year, and 4 or 5 have not lasted long enough to ride on. Unfortunately, it's a hard tube size to find, so I'm stuck with the brand.

Reliable, all-weather commuting tube. 48mm valve length for 30mm Deep V Rimms.

So far so good - I've been riding since November on icy winter streets with Kenda Klondikes.

You Don't Get What You Pay For

I mistakenly reviewed the 27 tubes, but the reviews seem the same. One tube was good, the other the valve core or stem collapsed, it was useless, the third blew out after the valve after two miles and blew out the sidewall of my tire. So that cost me [$] additional dollars. You definitely do not get what you pay for.

Kevin, Thanks for the feedback! This is one of our most popular tubes, so we'd love to hear more. We'd want to know the rim, tire and valve combination you were using and perhaps we can help. Thanks again. -Thomas

Good, basic touring tube.

Know how I know? It holds air for a lot longer than the racing tubes.

Good standard tube, no frills, great price, my go-to choice.

I ride 25 miles/day, rail trails and roads, weather permitting. With these tubes and Schwalbe Marathon 700x28c tires I have a nearly unbeatable combination for hogh mileage durability.

Great Fit

Tube really fits well. Some brands of tubes appear to be larger then necessary. That adds weight and makes it harder to replace the new tube.

Quality looks good and it went right in.

High quality - No bursts in 300 miles so far - Easy Installation - knurled retaining ring

I buy tubes in bulk because of local markups, and because I used to go through them once or twice every couple weeks. After purchasing GatorSkin tires from Germany and these decent tubes from Kenda, I have had fantastic results. It is not certain which factor (or both) was the solution to my problem, but I can say that these Kenda tubes go in well, and have a very helpful knurled (cross-hatched threads on outside for good finger traction) retaining ring to thread down on the stem, removing any shift motion under load. This will have to be finger-tightened from time to time as you ride. They're packaged to fit easily into a cycling bag, and have classy black caps, although I'll miss my ostentatious neon green caps from my cheap tube supplier. (those tubes broke cooooonstantly). These durable tubes are good for any level of cyclist, amateur or professional. (And I take my road bike some places it really shouldn't go)
