GU Roctane Ultra Endurance Energy Gel

Gu has taken their original energy gel to a higher power with Roctane. They started with the original GU formula with and 80/20 percent complex/simple carbohydrate ratio, anti-inflammatory chamomile, stomach calming ginger, and caffeine to metabolize fat. Then they added Histidine to prevent lactic acid buildup along with higher levels citrates which help speed up the conversion of carbohydrates to energy. Next they added more branched chain amino acids for fuel and recovery and Ornithine Alpha-Ketoglutarate to limit brake down of muscle protein. 100 calories per packet. Take one packet 15 minutes before exercise and then every 30-45 minutes along the way always with water. Flavors: Vanilla Orange, Blueberry Pomegranate and Pineapple.
