Bought this helmet because the guy at the bike shop told me it saved him after a bike crash that was good enough for me. I owned the helmet for 5 years. It was a great helmet, comfortable, plenty of vents, fit well and I felt well protected.

I just had the worst bike accident I have ever had, at the ER they showed me my helmet it was cracked in the front and the front of the helmet had skid marks from where I slid on the asphalt. Good news! No concussion just road rash and minor bruises. Just buy the helmet.

Nice general purpose helmet for non-performance riding.

I am a high level Double Century rider and won't use this helmet for those rides as I don't prefer the way it fits on my head and it's feeling of weight. It's a great wear for general purpose riding such as errands, commuting and less than100 mile rides on my fixie bike. The Giro Atmos helmet is remarkable and unbeatable for long, tough, hot and or performance distance rides. Great deal for a nice, general use helmet.
