Garimin's flagship touchscreen cycling computer is not only more powerful, it's also easier to use.
The Edge 810 Bundle delivers reliable GPS navigation, fitness tracking, and new "connected" features to push your cycling experience to the next level. Unlike the basic 810 model, this Bundle includes North America street maps for detailed navigation, along with Garmin's premium heart rate strap and cadence sensor.
On the surface, the 810 is virtually identical to its 800 predecessor -- it tracks your distance, speed, location and ascent/descent, all via GPS from the same compact, weather resistant body. Where this new computer really stands out though is in its ability to offer live tracking, auto uploads, Bluetooth/smart phone connectivity, and weather alerts -- features Garmin calls part of their new "Connected" family. The Edge 810 also supports up to 10 customizable bike profiles and 5 activity profiles, allowing you train, race, or just ride, whether it's on your MTB, road bike, or 'cross machine.
The 810 touchscreen display has been designed for easy operation with full fingered gloves and is built tough enough to withstand off-road abuse. A new layout and user interface provide more intuitive operation, an update that's particularly noticeable when operating the computer on the bike.
This Edge 810 Bundle includes an SD card preloaded with North America City Navigator Maps, Garmin's heart rate strap, and cadence sensor. It's compatible with ANT+ devices, all of which are sold separately. Garmin's new Front handlebar mount is also included, helping to free up bar real estate. A base version with just the computer and basic accessories is also available separately.

Big Disappointment
If you train by power don't this this until they (Garmin) release a software update, as of 3.14.13 still no fix. Check the Garmin Forum for more information about this Power Readings Issue.

Outstanding computer
I this computer for every ride. Tracks just about everything you need and uploads to Garmin Connect automatically if you have your phone with you (via blue tooth). The gps features are great as well.

Great unit after you figure out all options and get everything working
I have many different bike computers all with ANT+ for power readings from Powertap hubs and I got the 810 to replace my 705 on my long ride bike and have ended up using it on most of my bikes and rides-it just does everything you need , seems reliable and accurate and provides every data field even the most techno weenie could ask for.It did take several rides to get all the data fields sorted out and to get each bike set up and working but once you figure out and set up all basic stuff it is very simple to use each day even on different bikes. One downside is when Garmin provides a software upgrade (free) it wipes unit clean and you have to set all the stuff up again. Minor issue but a bit of hassle. All in all best bike computer I have had.
