Fizik Aliante Carbon with K:ium Rails

I had just about given up and was starting to think a sore arse was just part of riding. No more. This saddle is very comfortable and worth every penny. In fact, I think Fizik can charge a premium for it because it is so comfy. It works for me and my search is over. If it helps, I rode the Arione for many miles prior to getting the Aliante. My bottom thanks me every ride for making the switch.

I'm a urologist and I know that anatomies vary and everyone has an opinion about saddle shape and design. I've tried almost everything out there. Cutouts, splits, long and narrow etc. For me and for just about everyone I've ever managed to convince to try it, the Aliante is the end of the line. You'll never go back.

I recently purchased the Fizik Aliante Carbon saddle to replace my stock Felt saddle. I have ridden over 700 miles on it and to me it is one of the most comfortable seats I have ever used. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that I find that sometimes there is the sensation that you are sliding a bit on the seat. Overall It is a top quality product. Is it worth the money? Well, that is always debatable, but like I said it is comfortable and I can ride long distances with no pain in sit bones. I highly recommend.

I have this saddle on all of my bikes, including the cyclocross. It is well shaped and comfortable. I don't know about the rest of you, but I need just a little padding to make my riding enjoyable. I am not a racer, and not looking for weight savings. If you ride for fitness like I do, this is a great option.
