Nice Chamois Cream

This is a very good chamois cream. Has a slight zing to it and scent. Works great for medium length rides. Container is too big to take along, so not used on longer rides where you need to re-apply.

Smells great, works better

For long rides (50 miles plus) this is a great addition. It's a bit awkward at first-and COLD-but you quickly forget about it and your saddle. Which, really, is exactly what you want.

Good stuff

best chamois cream for me. Chamois cream still always seems expensive to me but I never go without it. Other brands ok too but I seem to keep ordering what I like most Enzos Buttonhole.

inconsistent quality - decent for short rides but not for Centuries

Good for rides less than a Metric. Unlike premium brands, this wears out after a 2 to 3 hours of use.

Inconsistent quality - first container used was good, second container was mush, third container had chunks of white stuff. Never tried a fourth

best I've found so far

I've used Enzo's cream for two years now. I tried Assos, Udderly Smooth, Paceline, and others. There is a slight menthol feel to it, not as strong as the Assos product. It holds its lubricity without breaking down as quickly as the other products. The longest ride I've used it on was 5 hours at a moderate pace in the fall. It doesn't last as long in the summer months (sweaty conditions). What I like most is that I've not had the saddle sores as I did in the past. I put in about 200 miles a week year round and use it on every ride regardless of distance or temperature. Even if it were to cost more than the others, I would stick to using it. Saddle sores suck. (BTW, my wife was not a fan of the menthol, ladies. Use precaution.)

Minty fresh and buttery smooth

I gave Enzos a shot on a BTD special and was hooked from the first ride. The cream feels a little less viscous than some other brands, but it does it's job well during long rides without breaking down. The scent-chocolate mint cookies?-is pleasant and neutralizes offensive undercarriage odors so that you don't stink up your (friends')car during the drive home from a race or trailhead.

Great product.

Like aCheastyBoy I started developing saddle sores. I tried four other products without relief, with one or two it seemed to get worse. After reading readers comments about this product I thought I would give it a try. It really works and I now look forward to riding again. Very Big Thanks to all who took the time to share their results of this product.

Never do a ride with out Buttonhole!!!

I just completed a one day 400K ride, 250 miles. The temp. was in the 90's the wind was 20-30mph. The steepest grade was 12%. I am 70 years old so not an easy ride. Buttonhole is a amazing product I put new on appox. every 50 miles and came in with no soreness. I wouldn't do any ride with out Buttonhole.

In 2012 I rode 8,940 miles so I can say you need this product!!

Works Well for me.

Works well and is on par with the DZNuts I have been using. I do not particularly like the scent, but I do like the jar it comes in. This packaging lets you use all the cream you purchased, those that come in a tube always leave a whole lot behind.

Soothing

Tried this because of the reviews here. It's very soothing. I still have some packets of another brand that are portable and used some halfway through a ride yesterday and noticed that it irritated my skin. I will be passing that along to someone I know uses it. This is so gentle and soothing I even use a small amount after a shower to calm irritation caused by long miles.

Best quality, best deal for chamois cream

There's really no comparison between this, Assos, Relief, or Chamois Butter. In my experience this lasts the longest, and uh, I guess the term would be lubricates the best. It helps that it's sized generously, so that helps relieve concerns about using too much of the expensive stuff. I think the only main other cream I haven't tried is DZ Nuts, but based on the size and price of that stuff, and how well this works, there's no need.

Cool Minty Goodness

Having first tried Vaseline and Bag Balm I started looking for something that wouldn't turn my chamois/bathtub into an oil slick. This stuff seems to work well, comes out in the wash, and smells nice to boot. Will buy again.

Perfect

This is it. Refreshing mint or something tingly without burning your privates off. I ride a lot of hard miles and I never leave home without my Buttonhole!

Quality cream, soothing mint essences, but loses viscosity

The formulation of cream results in a very refreshing, clean feeling product. the consistency of the cream is buttery smooth and feels high quality. However, to me, it lacks the lasting ability to provide lubrication over any distance. Like most hand creams, it loses viscosity as it heats up in your chamois. I suppose that is becuase it is a cream vs a salve-type of product, which is what I use on a regular basis. The Enzo's is refreshing, and I since I purchased it I use it in addition to my stand-by product for the peppermint and menthol soothingcooling properties. Again, terrific cream in so far as creams go, but if you need a protective layer between you and your shorts or if you tend to chafe, then I would steer clear and get a heavier non-cream style product.

This is the stuff. Look no further.

I've tried them all. My search is over. I will try different kinds of chain lube but I won't even THINK of using anything else. After using this stuff I gave my tubes and jars of unused chamois cream away.

It goes on thick and stays where you put it. No mess, no fuss It lasts through road races and long training rides. If I had a 100 miler I used to carry a little tube filled with chamois cream just in case. With Buttonhole there is no need. It lasts all day. It washes off in the post-ride shower.

Great deal for a good product - non-greasiness is a plus.

For some unknown reason, I started developing saddle sores - not fun. Tried this based on a recommendation at my LBS. This is a better deal and works just as well as the more expensive competitor's product that starts with an A (I've used that one and it also works well). The ButtonHole cream is non-greasy and the smell doesn't bother me. Works great - I'm a permanent convert.

As good as Assos.

Based on another review, I decided to try this chamois cream. It has worked as well as the more expensive cream that comes in the same kind of jar and you do get more for your money

Good Stuff!

I tried Enzo's and then tried another brand of chamois cream. After that hands-on comparison, I purchased more of the Enzo's. The thing I like about Enzo's is that it is more water soluble than the other brand.
