Fit Note: We've found that these shoes run roughly one full size larger than a typical Diadora shoe. Because they only provide one sizing chart, we recommend ordering one size down from your recommended European size. Please contact us with any questions.

Note: The US-sizes printed on the Diadora shoe box are not accurate. Please order by European size, see sizing chart and fit note above for details.

Discount Codes and Double VIP point promotions are not applicable to Closeouts.

This size chart provides our best estimate for which European shoe size to choose based on your US shoe size. This will not necessarily match the US size shown on the product, but it is the best guidance we can provide for this particular brand.

If we've noticed that any particular model deviates from the standardized chart, we will list this information in the product description.

Good shoe for the money

Can't complain. Pros won't use it, but it's a great value for most of the rest of us.

Great for MTB, stylish, comfortable for walking around town as well.

The Diadora Globes are my new MTB shoes, and serve the purpose well. I prefer no clips, and these stick to the pedals surprisingly well without clips! I also noticed an increase in power on my pedal stroke as well. I wear a size 11, so ordered a 45, and they have a little room at the toes, but not excessive. I did have to install some foam cushion material where the clip bolts penetrate the inner sole. Other than that, no problems!

Great value for good shoe

If you're looking for a good performing and very comfortable shoe at a reasonable price this is it.

What this shoe does well comfortable to walk in, cleat installation has a fair amount of flexibility to customize fit, still lets you clip in to preserve power in pedal stroke, sheds mud easy (never had trouble clipping after stomping in think mud)

What this shoe doesn't do well it's bendy so expect to lose a little pedal power on the upstroke (not a huge concern for me)

Note as per other reviews order this shoe a size smaller than usual. I typicaly wear euro 42, bought a 41 and possibly could have done a 40

Good value, but the inside needs some improvement.

Outside, the shoe looks great, but inside is another story. The hard-plastic insole is a framework of right-angle ridges and valleys, and the indent for the cleat mount has no protection from the screws holding the cleat or cleat cover in place. The soft insole liner molds itself around these sharp edges and produces an un-even surface for my foot. It's especially bad over the cleat cavity.

My solution is to make a hard-liner insole to place under the soft-liner. The shoes run a bit on the large size, so adding 1/16" of material won't be a problem. An alternative is to purchase a high-quality hard insole liner typically used in hiking shoes. But that would add fifty-dollars to the cost of these bargain-priced shoes. That said, I'm happy with these shoes and I feel they are a good deal and I would buy them again.

Great shoe for everyday commuting

I use the shoe for everyday commuting with occasional mountain biking trips. They are comfortable and not too stiff for everyday use but solid enough for mountain riding. The cleat nut that came with the shoe were pretty cheap and they broke easily. I ordered some replacements that were more solid and life is good. Overall great shoe.

Runs small

Order size larger than your shoe size, as BTD recommends. Do not know about longevity. Good price. Heavy.

Really nice shoe for the price but gets waterlogged when very wet.

Xc and general mountain biking. Very comfortable though and good for walking sort distances. Cleats loosened up after two days of hard riding.

A very comfortable shoe

Other reviewers have mentioned that this shoe runs a size bigger and it's true. I ordered a size smaller than normal and the filt is great. It's become my everyday commuter shoe. A hiking shoe with cleats!

very comfortable both on the bike and while walking. I bought a second pair.

I have been very pleased with these shoes. I use one pair with clips, and another with toe straps. Both are very comfortable as walking/ hiking shoes when off the bike.

This is a great shoe for a great price, size down.

These shoes are very comfortable and look nice.

I wear a 9.5 men's 43 euro I ordered the 43 to be safe

Since I have a wide foot. Listen to other reports and size down

I should have ordered a 42. That said they are still very comfortable.

And I have put about 400 miles in them.

I like them so much I'm ordering another pair only

A 42.

Great bargain, sized large, good short route shoe.

I use these shoes for light duty riding such as on bike paths and short training rides. I have ridden as much as 50 miles without problems. I hesitate to ride them on longer rides and for touring, as they do not have a stiff sole, and I fear hot spots on a longer or multiple-day ride. As most have noted, get one size smaller. Also, as noted previously, the laces are very long. For the price they are a bargain.

Good MTB shoes for commuting.

Comfy and well built. I have not put the cleats yet to see how they behave with traction. The screws for the cleats are noisy when walking in pavement. Overall, good product.

Great shoe for the dollar. Foot does fall asleep - my fault?

Before I begin, let me preface by saying you can't find a better shoe for the typical sale price between $35-$45.

Also do listen to the other reviewers as they shoes run large. I also have wide feet, and ordered a size smaller and they fit fine with room to spare at toes and sides.

Pros

Pretty light, love being able to walk around while still using clipless pedals (ie great for mtn biking and commuting). Cheap. Easy to remove foot pad for easy cleaningreplacing. I have a fat bike and bike in the sand, and it is very easy to get the sand out of 99% of the shoe (the cleat can get some wedged in, but not the fault of the shoe).

Cons

Some rubber manufacturing issues around where the cleats sit causes it to restrict the full movement you'd otherwise have with the cleat generally. The left and right shoe rubbers don't even match on mine so the cleats aren't placed exactly the same offset. Ones a little closer to center (which I need as I have wider feet).

My feet fall asleep on mountain biking rides over 30 minutes. It's not the hardest thing to deal with, but not a problem I had with my Giro road shoes. I'm also not sure what causes this, a cheap shoe design or bad placement of food? I've tried several cleat positions and not been able to completely get rid of it.

Great shoes!! Sizing is off, though

I followed the recommended sizing guidelines given by the website. I wear a US 10.5, which would translate into a EUR 44, but they are still a little big. I stuck an extra insole inside and that seemed to take care of the problem for the most part, but I would recommend going up 1.5 sizes instead of one. Aside from the sizing they are great shoes, the soles are nice and stiff despite their casual appearance. I put some TIME ATAC cleats and they work just fine.

Good shoe for the price

Good shoe for the price. Fits well and is comfortable. However, for me, I should have ignored their advice on sizing. I wear a 45 EU and ordered a 44 based on opinions. Had to send it back to get a 45 which fit perfectly.

Great value, but run BIG

I was looking for something to wear a round town and to ride to baseball games and these seemed perfect - especially the price! Quality is great and weight isn't bad. You get a little cleat noise when walking, but not much. Do mind the sizing though. I wear a 43 in Sidi and Shimano shoes, but even the 42's are a little large for me.

Great shoe for the price

Just started using them, and like them quite a bit. Good sole. Really long laces, but not a problem to secure with the velcro strap. Sizes seem to run a bit large.

Comfortable Shoe

Nothing new here, great shoe for the price. Extremely comfortable, runs on the large size...good for wide feet. Plus they are well ventilated, great for hot weather.

However, I have had an issue with one shoe...the cleat mounting plate on one show was extremely thin, such that my SPD cleat actually pulled out of the plate. I purchased heavier replacement plates from this site, and that fixed the mounting problem. But, the actual sole of the shoe was gouged up pretty well when that cleat came loose. So now, after many more miles, the sole is worn through under the cleat such that I cannot fully secure it anymore.

I have ordered another pair (at this price, why not?!), and I'll convert my current pair into regular street shoes.

Hopefully this was an isolated instance.
