Cycleops Aluminum Roller

This is my third set of rollers. One set from Performance ran its' mechanical course, and I sold my Kreitlers on a whim after having a one season love affair with my wind trainer. So when I bought these I was looking for quality that would last at a rate reasonable price. These fit the bill, have worked flawlessly, and offer all the characteristics that I'll ever need. The Kreitlers were better in ways, far better in other ways. However, the reality is that they cost twice as much and in the end, rollers are rollers. In fact, the Performance rollers were not deficient in any meaningful way.

All of that said, the Cyclops are stable, smooth, and durable. Are they as smooth as the Kreitlers? Not really, but the difference is not meaningful. What is most important is the roller size, and the Cyclops have gotten it correct.

I would not hesitate to recommend this product.
