Improving on what was was excellent soft/loose grip, the new Mountain King features larger shoulder lugs and a more pronounced 'void' toward the center lugs for cornering that's practically telepathic and reliable performance over a wide variety of terrain.

Conti's advanced Black Chili rubber compound is reserved for their top-of-the-line models and performs exceptionally well, increasing grip and durability while lowering rolling resistance.

The Mountain King UST casing features 3 fabric plies for a total of 330 TPI, ensuring exceptional ride quality, durability. Recommended pressure: 45 PSI. Max. pressure: 58 PSI. Folding bead. Handmade in Germany. Available 26 x 2.4 Inch (60-559 ISO). 880 grams.

Grips like a mountain goat

I run mine around 30 psi. They give me excellent traction and the only limit on steep descents is either my ability to make a sharp switchback while climbing. The tires never fail to do their part.
