Continental Comfort Contact 700c

I been riding on these tires for a little over a month now and have enjoyed them very much.I have them mounted on a 29er mountain bike, and they give a comfortable ride over poorly maintain roads that I use, traction is very good,I have not had the chance to evaluate them in the rain.During my ride I will use trails as cut through's, I'm very pleased on how well they grip, even covered with leaves and pine-straw.I cannot comment on wear as I have not ridden enough to give my thoughts on this,to date I find this a very good tire for paved and light trail use.

I recently built up a steel framed custom road bike and first fitted it out with some 30ish mm semi-slicks. They rode swell but were prone to flats and the ride was a little harsher than I wanted. I live in the City where broken glass is about as common on the streets as leaves! Anyway, I thought that an even fatter tire with a little protection from punctures would be worth trying. These Contis are about the fattest smooth tires I could find and the ride is vastly improved. They took a little getting used to since I was replacing tires that were quite a bit lighter and faster, but after a week or so, I love 'em. You can ride these with pretty low pressure and they give a nice ride over bumps and broken pavement. I'm careful about glass & road hazards but sometimes you can't help riding through some & these tires seem to be able to shrug it off.

Yeah, they're a little porky, but what do you expect from such a big bouncy durable sneaker?

If you're a heavy rider or you just want a really cushy ride & no flats, these tires are a great deal.

I was looking for a way to reduce resistance when commuting or riding concrete trails for my 29er MTB and found these. The 700x47s look and perform great! I have about 300 miles on them and no apparent wear nor any flats. If you're looking to make your MTB a bit more like a commuter or just want to add a bit more comfort to your road bike, I would definently recommend these!
