Bright, but tends to shine too much light upwards at your eye.

I tried using this as an additional blinking light to accompany my regular riding light. What I found is as it becomes dark this light shines too much light upward and into my eyes. I suspect if you only use it in the day time it would be fine. Also, it's bit larger than you might expect from the picutre.

Value and Visibility

Was looking for some small lights to put on my helmet. Didn't want a blinding headlamp, just something for a bit of extra visibility in the dark winter months. I put a white on on the top of my helmet and a red one on the back. The elastic loop works great and makes a very secure connection. I was originally looking for a light that was USB rechargeable, but the price point of these lights and the fact that the little CR2025 batteries are dirt cheap on web were enough to sway me. Great light for adding some visibility without being too flashy or distracting.

Best price on a smal light

I have used many different lights in my 40 plus years of road and trail riding. This is one of the best because there is no need for any clamps or rubber bands that break. For a small light this is the best one for me.

Use mostly for running - hooked to jacket

A great standby if there is a chance of getting caught after dark.

Now that the small batteries are so cheap on Amazon this is a viable light.

Versatile and economical

I mount three or four of the red lights on my helmet andor backpack for early morning and evening commutes. Each light is fairly strong, and setting off multiple lights on different blink intervals enhances your visibility...Also, the elastic loop-and-hook allows you to place these in different spots for optimal visibility from sides and back. A single larger light might offer more intensity, but no driver will see it if it's not placed perfectly on you or your bike...Lastly, these are very light-unnoticeable when mounted on a helmet-and are powered with common watch batteries.

Works great, simple.

I have spent a lot of money on rear lights that fall off, or the batteries come loose from shock. This is simple and durable.

Works well. Visible from many angles.

I put a red one on the back of my helmet and a white one on the front, looping the bungee through the ventilation slots. Remember to read the instructions which explain how to turn off the store demo mode.

Decent light

It's bright enough but the bungee cable didn't hold up on mine.

These things are TERRIBLE!

I chose the front (white) and rear (red) lights for my bike based on how inexpensive they were. I do not do a lot of night riding so I figured I could get away with just having something to get me by. What I got was not even worth the shipping cost. These lights are horrible. One of the elastic straps that hold the light to the frame of the bike snapped the very first time I tried to put it on my bike (I did not over stretch it, it just sucks that much). I eventually rigged it so that it would stay on and then they BOTH stopped working AT THE SAME TIME whilst I was using them for the first time. I thought someone was playing a trick on me. I was left with no lights on the bike in a particularly tricky area where I live. Do yourself a huge favor and pay that little bit extra for a quality product. These things are just terrible.

make sure to read how to turn off the demo mode.

reliable, hasn't shut down in the couple rain storms I've been caught in. bright without annoying the drivers or bike mates behind you. It comes set on demo mode, which means it will shut off on it's own after about 45 seconds. All you have to do to fix this it press down for about 10 seconds and it will blink 3 times to show it has switched full working mode. cheap price but still solid construction.

Gets you noticed at night

Not really bright enough to use as a headlight, but at night drivers will see you. Be sure to read the instructions to turn off the store Try it now feature or it will only run for 20 seconds then shut off. It would be nice if it had a hood or top cover so then the flash didn't shine in your eyes. The elastic loop is very handy, was the main reason I chose this model.

Light would auto turn off.......

I loved the convenience of the light, but it kept turning off. After a bit of research, discovered teh Try Me mode....not mentioned when you get the product. LOVE it now.

The CatEye Orbit and Loop are sold in Try Me mode to allow someone to turn on the light to test it, but have it automatically turn off after 30 seconds to avoid draining the batteries. To turn Try Me mode off From the OFF position, push and HOLD ON for 10 seconds the LED flashes rapidly. Try Me Mode is now deactivated.

It does what it claims, except ....

I bought both the red and the white lights. And they work greateasy to operate and easy to install, except that the elastic cord was not long enough to wrap around my bike's large steering tube. But after I looped one of my daughter's ponytail holders onto the elastic band it worked fine. The rear red light fit perfectly.

Versatile Mounting Options and Wide Visibility

This lacks both the cool-factor and brightness of the Knogs, but offers a wider range of ways and places to mount it. I hang a red one off my backpack. It's visible from all directions. I'm guessing the band will lose elasticity before too long so durability may be an issue, but I ride in nasty weather and this involves a fair amount of speculation on my part.

Doesn't work

This light doesn't work. I turn it on, but half a block later, it is off. Every single time. I ride on (not too well maintained) city streets. If it can't handle city streets, what use is it? Total fail.
