Castelli has improved the economically priced Ergo Tre Bib Short with even more top-tier features.
The 2011 Ergo Tre uses the new Affinity 210 Lycra® fabric which offers amazing stretch and rebound, with just enough compression for ideal muscle support. The anatomic 8-panel cut clings to the body, and the mesh bib upper ensures breathability.
Like the 2010 model, the multi-level KISS3 Chamois features infinite shaping and high density foam to make sure that you have exactly the right support where you need it.
Thoughtful touches like durable double-needle cover stitching, comfortable gel grippers and a stylish embossed woodmark add to this amazing value.
Available in Black and Cyan.
Fit Note: We've found that this short runs much smaller than a typical Castelli garment; because they provide only one sizing chart, we advise purchasing around two sizes larger than your recommended size. For example, if you typically wear a size Medium we suggest an X-Large, or even an XX-Large depending on your specific fit preferences. Please contact us to discuss fit details.

Great Bargain!
I have worn these on two Century rides. The panels are great very supportive, the chamois is very comfortable. The shoulder strapes need some adjustment once placed on the shoulders.

No better bib shorts for the money!
As far as I am concerned, Castelli has produced a winner. Excellent chamois (KISS) and durable lycra. My only complaint is the poor quality logos which peel after a few wearings and look cheap.

Castelli does it again....
I have used Castelli products from time to time but lately I have been more inclined to purchase Castelli. In this age of higher prices and lower quality along comes these bib shorts that help reinforce my belief in quality first (wow, what a concept) as the make up of this item is superb. Comfort on metric centuries (mostly what I ride) with a fit that is spot on for me at least. Fit is such a personal thing as we are all snowflakes if you know what I mean. Once I find something that works I stick with it. I will be ordering more in the future.

Fell Short
In summary, I have paid less for better shorts. Ridden three times, length 20 to 50 miles. 6 ft 160 lbs
The fit is ok. I'm typically between a medium and large. I ordered XL...they ride up just a bit. Order a double X if you're on the larger side of large. The overall construction feels ok. I tend to hyper-sweat while climbing in heat. These move moisture well. The pad feels a bit flimbsy. When I received the shorts, my immediate reaction to the pad was maybe... Less is more.. For me, this has not turned out to be the case... After 20 miles, I have felt general discomfort, and I would attribute it to a lack of quality padding.
These are not terrible, but like I said, I have paid less for better...

Good product overall. Not meant for tall people
I am 6'4. The large did not even come close to fitting. I returned it a bought a Pearl Izumi bib. Also material was very rough compared to my other bibs
