Castelli Diluvio Shoecover Closeout

I've tried other booties (Pearl Izumi Performance)and always had problems with zippers, cold, wet etc. My feet have not gotten wet or cold yet riding in Portland rain and splash. They are also the easiest to get on. No zipper hassles! They cost a bit more than others but they're worth the extra few dollars.

These shoecovers are excellent for winter months. Their temperature range is from about 30-45degrees. They are form-fitting, yet stretchable enough to fit toe-covers underneath for 30degree conditions. I strongly recommend for regular winter riding.

Used them for the first time this past weekend. Starting tempature was 31 degrees and feet never got cold.

Adequate to keep the toesies warm down to 35F

Not quite as warm as a Performance Brand their replacing.

I wear a 10 (that's USA sizing) and the booties are advertised to fit 10-12.

Well they are a very tight fit over my old italian cleated shoes, a very tight fit. If you have a size 12 shoe, you're in for some contorsions to put these on.

There is reinforcing tape over the heel seam, but none along the whole length of the forefoot. I would prefer the rear opening to be the full length down to the bottom of the heel, with velcro the full length.

These fit your feet like a glove .

These covers keep my feet warm and don't move once they've been put on. The problem is that it's an exercise in skill and patience to get them on. I wear a size 46 shoe so I purchased the XXL. Even with that, it takes me several minutes per foot to get the covers on and oftentimes I scrape up my fingers in the process. Once they're on, they're great, but getting them on is very difficult.
