If you are a commuterweekend traveler it is OK.

This front rack is a value if you are not a long-term bicycle traveler. The problem for me was the spot welds. They are poorly done and do not take abuse. They will eventually fail as mine did (on one side) requiring re-welding. Again, if you are not a long distancefully loaded bike traveler this rack may be for you. I will not buy another Blackburn rack.
