Description

Get the capacity of a rack trunk without the need of a rack with the Waterproof Saddle Trunk.

This bag has tons of space (400 cu. inches) and since it attaches using the rails of your saddle and seatpost, no rear rack is necessary. An interior aluminum strut and stiff HDPE hull give the bag shape so it doesn't get all saggy when loaded up, and its waterproof fabric keeps your valuables dry during wet weather. Completing the package is an exterior pocket to keep things like keys closer at hand plus webbing loops for a light and to strap down a jacket or tool bag (easily accomplished with a spare toe strap).

The Waterproof Saddle Trunk is available in black with reflective piping. 400 cubic inch capacity.

Plenty of Space and Stability as Long as It's Attached Correctly

Three days a week, I stuff fins (for size 5 feet), hand paddles, microfiber towel, and swim goggles in the extra large pack for swim practice. It took a few tries to realize the straps need to be tightened significantly to prevent the bag from hitting my rear wheel (larger bikes won't have this problem but my bike is 47 cm). It took more trips w/ the pack to learn that both sets of straps should loop over the seat rails. One set of straps is longer and not a problem. The other set of straps are shorter and not as easy to loop through the seat rails but doing so makes all the difference in keeping the pack motionless. I love this pack so much that I ordered the smaller pack for trips where I'll carry fewer items.

Happily surprised

I bought the Large and it was perfect. The extra large must be really big. I recently used it on a 7 day Oregon tour. I removed the water proof lining and I used it to carry my flat tire supplies, extra sun screen, sandwich, jerky, nuts, 8 ounce recovery drink, flip flops (size 11) and a few other random small things. It attaches to your seat rails and around the seat post and stays in place nicely so I didn't know it was there. It was a little tight around the seat post but it worked. I am so glad I purchased this one. I saw others in stores and none were as useful as this one. I'm saving it to use on future rides where I need to be 100% independently supported.

Spacious and waterproof for bikepacking

I've taken this on a couple of overnight camping trips and it fits plenty of gear, probably more if you take the waterproof liner out. It's survived wind and rain and everything inside is dry. It's easy to put on/take off the bike, as well.

Small but large

The Banjo Brothers Waterproof Saddle Trunk has been very useful on my century destination rides. It allows enough space to carry some flip flops, extra change of shorts and shirt plus some other essential amenities for an overnight out and back. I have not used it in rain but it seems to be well made and should keep everything dry. It's storage is easy to access and close with a confident seal so nothing will fall out. Very cool pick up and glad I spent the $$.

Good bag to have, never know its thier when riding.

I ordered this bag for winter time riding so I would have some place to put my jacket after I warm up. Now that spring is here think I will just keep it on bike instead of going back to my small bag. If you don't fill it up the back end rolls up folds over so it does not look so large when half empty. After using this oversized bag you will never go back to a normal saddle trunk.

sturdy bag, just the right size, waterproof is a plus

I bought the standard size about 3 years ago, moderate use. When needed, I use it to carry spare tube and tools, lcok, wallet, keys, phone, and with some room left over for whatever. The two-strap attachment to the seatpost works well, and the seat straps are sturdy with easy to operate buckles.

If you need more room than what is here then you probably need to get a pannier.

The Best Yet

I have experimented with many bags over many years as a recreational and commuting. cyclist and the Banjo bag has proven to be the best of all in terms of size and attachment. Other bags invariably don't hang or fit right or are either too large or small. Banjo is just right

Fits great and holds more than I thought

The top straps are firm and hold it in place. There is much more space than expected. I store a 2 liter water bottle, first aidpatch kit, pump, snacks and still more space.
