The Showers pass rain hood is designed to work with all of their jackets using Velcro® attachments which is all of them except the ProTech. It is cut to wear under a helmet and is made from a waterproof breathable fabric that is fully seam-taped. Color is black, and the hood works with most other hood-less jackets since it is quite long and will overlap the collar to form a waterproof seal. No cold rain running down your neck.

I haven't had a rain jacket with a hood before so this was something new for me. I really like how easy it is to remove and put on when it's not needed. I use the hood under my helmet and it does just what it should, keep my head dry. The drawstrings work well to keep the wind from blowing the hood off when you are not using a helmet. The only draw back is I can't hear cars as well and you need to be careful so the hood does not block your side vision, the drawstrings helps this. Over all this product is great because I don't always want the hood on and it stuffs right in the pocket when I'm not using it.
