I''ve been using these tights all winter for riding in the pacific northwest. They are made of a nice brushed fabric that is comfortable and warm without being too hot. I''ve worn these in temperatures ranging from 40 to 55 and they have kept me plenty warm. They do not have any wind blocker or water proofing, so they would not be as well suited to rainy or really windy cold conditions, but for cooler riding in reasonably dry conditions, they are great.
The chamois seems to be the same one used in the ProCorsa bibshorts, which is to say that it is good quality and comfortable without being too thick.
I''ve thrown these in the wash after each ride so they''ve been through a lot of washings now. I always air-dry my cycling gear. They have held up well all season and still look like they have a lot of wear left in them.
