Park Tool PFP-4 Professional Mechanic Floor Pump

A very nice pump that is both sturdy and easy to pump. Dual schrader and presta valve opennings on the end of the pump stem attachment are a nice bonus.

I'm having problems with the head - when you attach the Presta head to valve and begin pumping the air is blown out thru the Schrader head and not into the tube. Sometimes the presta sides works and sometimes not. Fortunately I also purchase a Presta-to Schrader adapter, so i was able to inflate my road bike tires. really this isn't an acceptable solution

Beware, the pictures imply a steel or aluminum base for the pump. The base is only plastic with a non-functional metal insert for show. I wouldn't recommend this pump - look for something better.

I have owned this pump for three years now. The pump has not failed and inflates at a reasonable rate. The big problem is the head is difficult to remove from the Valve stem. The head does not realease easily. You must twist and turn to remove the head from the valve stem. I would defintely not recommend this pump.
