Panaracer Rivendell Ruffy Tuffy

I rode Ruffy Tuffy tires on my LiteSpeed Blue Ridge from San Diego to St Augustine, over 3200 miles. I had no flats unlike some fellow riders who had over 10 flats each on their slick tires. We rode everything from smooth interstate to some gosh-awful thing in Texas that was truly more trench than road. I was able to dig glass, thorns, a pierced earring and debris out of the tread and used Super Glue to seal those holes. I'm training on my trusty steed for another month-long ride and those same tires are still so comfortable. I'm ordering a new pair today for my August excursion in the NW US, but I am betting my present tires will still be in pretty good shape.

Ditto with the previous reviewer. These tires are by far the best I've had for commuting and touring. They ride very smooth and are very puncture resistant. I had similiar experiences as the previous reviewer with finding glass and other debries in the tire, but never penetrating to the tube. Went over a year and 3000 miles without a flat. By far better than any other tire. Some very durable tires out there don't have a smooth ride, these are the best of both. I'll be replacing them finally because they have eventually lost enough rubber and become more prone to punctures. My only gripe would be the tan sidewall, but really who cares when they work so well.
