Fast rolling tire for hardpack but with a bit more grip than the Michelin XC Hard Condition. Dual compound has hard rubber layer under softer rubber outer layer. Harder base layer resists punctures and deformation under speed and braking. Softer outer layer with Silicium sheds mud and improves traction. The lightest of Michelin's expert range tubeless. Folding. 127 tpi. 680 grams. Size 26x2.0". 29-58 psi. Tubeless.

Light. fast, and easy to spin!

I ride this tire mostly on hard pack singletrack and minor double track with small gravel on Ft. Ord, CA. They last longer than I expected, given the dual compound and open-spaced knobs. While the tread did take a beating hucking granite and basalt on the Tahoe Rim Trail, the grip was terrific. I would use a harder tire if I rode on rock a lot. I really like them for the Sea Otter Classic and 24 Hours of Adrenalin.
