pretty nice tire

Like a toyota, not wonderful, but good at everything. Rolls good, flat protection good, weight good, ride good, just a good tire all around. Not the best, but the best at being all around maybe

Reasonable Price Quality

Very pleased with the results of the tire. They replaced a pair of Bontranger Race Lite. It is for sure a training tire. On the first ride I noticed that the rolling friction was high compared to the previous tires. After a few days I got use to it. I have raced them even with the weight disadvantage over other riders and the tire has handled perfectly never loosing gripdry on the road. I live in the Caribbean so humidity is very high. The grip on wet humid surface going uphill downhill doesn't allow hard acceleration so attacks, hard braking, fast cornering under wet humid conditions are not recommended. After 2000 milesless than a year on them the rear tire show up the inner nylon treadsI rode them like that and still got good grip. I'm a 250 pounder, so I can say that the tire is not made for heavy weights even that they had performed beyond my expectations neither specs recommend tires by weight, is there a weight limit?. Overall the tire is very good and performs great for the price.

Cheap for a reason

The tires have a great feel on any type of road and retain pretty good traction when wet. That's about where the good ends. I put two of these on 25's becuase I have to ride through some pretty rough roads to get to work in April and have had 6 flats as of October. Six! And it's not just the roads I commute on either, I had a nice set of Conti's last year and only had 1 flat all year and that was on a group ride with some friends, go figure. These things seem to attract glass and debris. They cut and nic VERY VERY easily. But the price is great. I don't know, if you don't have to ride on metro roads they'd be fine for a comfy 50 or century. But as a commuter you'll find yourself pulled over changing tubes way more often than you'd like. On the plus side I can change a tiretube in record time now!

A comfortable and reliable tire

After putting 800 miles on a set I can say they are the most comfortable inexpensive tire I've ever ridden.

Great tire for the money

At just over 2160 miles I am thinking of replacing my rear tire as it is showing wear. The front looks good yet, and unlike some others, I have not had any problems with flats. That's right, not one. I ride on mostly rural roads with the usual debris, but a lot of chip sealed roads that use extremely sharp shards of quartzite that sometimes stick in the center tread of the tires. I just pick them out before the next ride. The smoothness of the ride, even on chip seal, is fantastic. For you older folks like me out there it's like the difference from your last set of bias ply tires compared to your first set of radials. They handle well, even in the rain. I love these tires, and will order more for next season.

900 miles on these tires and they are cut and bubbled very poor quality

These tires came on my new Giant ORCA0 2008. I had puncture tape installed at time of purchase to minimize flats. OK only a couple of flats in 900 miles, but both front and back have multiple cuts and have bubbled and need to be replaced.

I ride primarily country highways in good condition, hills, but not extreme.

I'm very disappointed in the performance of these tires. Suggestions for a economic replacement is appreciated.
