The Maxxis ADvantage was designed by Allison Dunlap as a big aggressive XC tire that won't bog you down with too much weight or rolling resistance. Chunky side knobs rail through the turns without folding over. Center parallelograms also resist folding while providing excellent center traction. Alternating ramped center knobs give reliable braking without causing too much rolling resistance rolling forward. Knobs are well spaced for excellent mud shedding. 60a durometer rubber compound is tacky while still preserving a long tread life. Ample 2.25 width for a secure contact patch and comfortable ride. All black. 60 threads per inch. 35 to 65 PSI. 660 grams. Size: 26 x 2.25 Inch (54/56-559 ISO).

Good In The Wet Or Dry

I have limited rear tire clearance on my hardtail but this tire fits just right. I bought it last spring before a trip to UT and AZ. It gripped the rocks really well and didn't shred the knobs or sidewalls. Here in the wet Northwest this tire has great hook up on the mud and roots even when worn. I haven't used a tire that works so well at both wet and dry conditions in a while. Great all around tire.
