Description
The popular Elite goes on a diet and gets stiffer as a result. Differential rim depth with 22mm front and 25mm rear for stiffness where more weight is centered. Interspoke milling removes excess rim material between spokes. Asymmetrical rear rim eases dish to enhance stiffness and durability. Solid upper rim wall increases stiffness, lowers weight, and eliminates the need for a rim strip. Bladed stainless steel straight-pull bladed spokes laced radially front and rear drive side and 2X rear non-drive side. 18 front spokes; 20 rear spokes. Smooth and durable Mavic QRM+ bearings. Includes Bearing adjustment tool, Spoke wrench, and new BR301 high efficiency lightweight skewers. Size: 700c (622 x 15 ETRTO). Colors: Black or Silver. Shimano/SRAM 8/9/10 speed or Campagnolo 9/10/11 speed compatible freehub body. 1591 grams/set (weighed without skewers).

These wheels are holding up fine after 800 miles.
I only have 800 miles on these wheels but I am convinced I made a good choice. These wheels for my weight and carbon frame have a sweet spot at 18-21 mph. At 30 they are getting quite harsh and feel like they are vibrating. At 40 they are uncomfortably stiff. They corner and brake fantastic. Are great looking in silver on my silver Trek Pilot 5.2. I don't understand the bearing adjustment tool as it doesn't seem to do anything. The stainless spokes appear to be getting some tarnish on them.
