Louis Garneau Vancouver Pants

I bought a set of these pants after finally wearing the seat out in my old rain pants. I'm never a huge fan of wearing plastic because of the sweat factor, but sure do like not having wet pants. Well these pants have a 2-way side zip that lets air flow in and heat and moisture escape. I haven't opened the sides in a heavy rain because I think they would let water in but in light rain the venting works really well. They are a pretty basic pant and I like that they don't use velcro cuffs just elastic cuffs at the ankles that keep the pants out of the chain. The long side zips also make them easy to remove with out removing your shoes. I really like the mesh lining which keeps the pants moving around and not bunching when you wear them over a pair of pants. The reflective piping, rear zip pocket and drawstring at the waist are all nice bonus features.
