Look Keo 2 Max Carbon Pedals

Look has taken their incredibly popular Keo carbon pedal and made it even better with the Keo 2 Max Carbon. The most striking design change is the wider platform providing greater stability, less likelihood of a hot spot, and better power transfer. The cleat contact area also now features an INOX stainless steel plate for greater durability. Injected carbon body keeps the pedals light and durable. Two rows of sealed cartridge bearings, one row of needle bearings, and dual seals assure smooth rotation, long life, and further pedal stability.

In an attempt to further prove the durability of these pedals, Look has forced the oversized Chromoly spindles to survive a million cycles at 100 revolutions per minute with a 90kg (198lbs) center load and simulated bump in each rotation. The current standard only requires 65kg (143 lbs) at 100,000 cycles.

Those already invested in Keo pedals need not worry as the Keo 2 Max still uses the same Keo cleats. Includes one set of gray Keo grip cleats with 4.5 degrees of float and anti-slip rubber pads. Adjustable tension of 12Nm to 18Nm. 246 grams/pair (weighed without included cleats).
