BEst tire ever!
Best tire for all mountain biking, not just XC but HD and FR too. Best traction in wet or dry conditions, far superior to Maxis Minions.

Best xc tire ever!
light weight all purpose xc tire. amazing traction for climbing on rocks, roots, and loose terrain. corners well. sheds mud. bought instead of specialized sworks captain $60 as a less expensive alternative.

Bought as a spare that is still on 3 yrs later
Bought to use as a spare and still in use 3yrs later. I have the 2.35 and have tried it on front and back. Did not perform well as a rear tire. Traction and handling were less than acceptable. Was forced to switch with my front Kujo DH great tire and use as a front tire. I ride all conditions and it works well as a front tire. It's a bit squirrely until it gets some wear on it. Now it's worn down and I need to replace it. I got my moneys worth. I should note I have never gotten a pinch flat with this tire. My valve went and had to ride on the tire flat for a few miles slowly and the side walls held up but showed some of the abuse. Very good front tire for the price and holds up well.
