Built for those who demand speed and durability, the Fulcrum Red Metal 1 wheelset is packed with high-end features. The rim is alloy with a welded joint, disc specific, and is machined between spokes resulting in light rotational weight. The Ultra-Fit™ UST Tubeless compatible rim uses the MoMag design where there are no spoke holes in the upper rim bridge allowing the upper wall to be thinner, lighter, stronger, and have less possibility of tubeless leaks. 2/1.8/2mm butted stainless bladed spokes are aerodynamic and strong. The 2:1 spoke ratio with a 16:8 spoke ratio both front and rear strengthen the wheel where the greatest forces are applied. Hubs run on adjustable cone and cup bearings with an oversized 20mm axle using quick releases. The skewer levers engage both axle ends resulting in a more secure clamp while also having greater clearance for bulky forks. 6-Bolt International Standard disc rotor mount. 100mm Front/135mm Rear Hub spacing. 1720 grams/wheelset (weighed without included skewers). 26 Inch rim size (559 ISO).
