Description
The Racing 0 combines tubular speed with unmistakable Italian style in one high-performance wheelset. Fulcrum also upgraded the hubs to ceramic Ultra Smooth Bearings (USB) for 2010 for exceptionally smooth rolling, longer life, and less weight.
The Racing 0's rim is manufactured with Fulcrum's exclusive extrusion process, saving weight without compromising stiffness. The top bridge is not drilled for spoke holes, further increasing torsional rigidity. Differentiated rim depths of 26mm in front and 30mm in the rear provide a more responsive front with a stouter rear for power transfer. Wide profile spokes, 16-front 21-rear, maximize aerodynamic advantage. The rear wheel features Fulcrum's 2:1 spoke lacing for immediate power transfer, while the front wheel is laced radially for maximum aerodynamic advantage and stiffness.
The sudden emergence of Fulcrum under the wheels of the world's top riders is a testament to the brand's cutting-edge engineering and commitment to quality.
Oversized hubs with aluminum flanges and carbon fiber bodies have incredible strength with minimal weight. Like the entire Fulcrum range, Racing Zero wheels incorporate the patented Dynamic Balance: Fulcrum's precise enginering carefully distributes the rotating weight of the wheel evenly, allowing for crisp and predictable handling at the lightest possible weight.
Includes new Fulcrum quick-release skewers with improved leverage and cam action. Also includes wheel bags, special nipple wrench, spoke magnet, spoke anti-rotation tool, nipple guide magnet, and magnet attracting nipple insert. Color: Black with Red Spokes.
The Campagnolo 9/10/11 speed set weighs in at 1450 grams and the Shimano/SRAM 8/9/10 speed version weighs 1499 grams for the set (weighed without included skewers).

Campagnolo quality with great finish
Fulcrum wheels are made by Campagnolo, which in my opinion makes some of the best wheelsets on the market. They are as close to bulletproof as you can get for a wheelset this high performance. The bearings are supersmooth, yet there is virtually no play in them. The machined rims look cool and reduce mass. Fulcrum even adjusts the milling on the rim to compensate for the weight of the valve stem, so they feel very balanced and vibration free.
And if you've got a red, black or white bike, the red anodized finish is just the perfect complement.
