own less than a year and the bearings became worn fsa will replace bearings for $45.00.... no thanks

Used on my road bike 3,000 miles, light weight, smooth action. BUT the bearings became worn and the races pitted not even one year old contacted fsa and to replace the bearings was no problem just send the bottombracket to fsa and a fee of $45.00 plus shipping cost and your back on the road in a couple of weeks

Has worked well for me

I switched out my standard double for an FSA compact a few years ago and had to get a new bottom bracket. This one was one of the lightest on the market at the time (at least for a reasonable price). I've put well over 10,000 miles on it since then and it is still working fine, despite the fact some of those miles were in pretty grimy conditions. I keep my bike pretty clean though, which may improve bearing life.
