Fizik Ares TT Saddle

The Fizik Ares Time Trial saddle has finally become available to all after prototype testing by Dave Zabriskie with team Garmin/Slipstream. It has also already been used to great success by many other Pro Tour teams. The first great feature of the Ares is its short length of 24cm which is the shortest saddle allowed by UCI regulations. This means the saddle can still be moved far forward and still adhere to the UCI time trial regulation of its nose being 5cm behind the bottom bracket shell. No more need to cut off a saddle nose. This is combined with a 40mm wide nose with extra padding for extra stability and comfort in a forward position. The extra padding is found throughout the saddle as well but is very lightweight and low profile. K:ium rails are stronger and lighter than titanium.
