Easton EC90 Aero Fork

The Easton EC90 Aero fork features all the technology of the EC90 SLX fork with a more aerodynamic profile. The fork uses full CNT™ composite monocoque construction even in the dropouts for an extremely light yet incredibly durable fork. CNT™ composite monocoque construction blends carbon fiber with Carbon Nanotubes which Easton calls the lightest and strongest structures in existence. Taperwall™ construction uses very gradual and smooth butting for greater thickness at points of greatest stress without adding excessive weight. Relief-Area design features a flat section corresponding with the clamp zone to prevent crimping. Limited 5 year warranty. 1 1/8 Inch carbon steerer for threadless headsets. All black. Fits 700c wheels (622 ISO). 390 grams (uncut steerer).

The fork uses ITT™ or Internal Thread Technology which uses a high-strength epoxy thread system to eliminate the need for a heavy expanding steerer tube plug that can cause damage and/or slip. The threads are able to withstand 2500 ft/lbs of force so the headset bearings with be destroyed before the threads fail. The threads actually add strength to the steerer tube and even reinforces the stem clamp area. The anchor nut only weighs 5 grams and is easy to adjust. 150mm of threading means the fork will fit virtually any frame size.
