The EC70 aero handlebar features the CNT™ composite carbon construction of the EC90 series at a more affordable price. Drops are also a bit less radically ergo/aero shaped than the EC90 aero. Tops have a slight wing shape for improved ergonomics. CNT™ construction mixes carbon fiber with Carbon Nanotubes which Easton calls the lightest and strongest structures in existence to create a handlebar with incredible an strength to weight ratio. Taperwall™ construction uses very gradual and smooth butting for greater thickness at points of greatest stress without adding excessive weight. Intelligent Flexibility™ uses very specific carbon layups to add stiffness in times of need such as a heavy sprint while maintaining vibration dampening properties for comfort.
