We spend a fair amount of time poring over pictures of the gear the pros ride (purely for work, of course). Look closely, and you notice that many pros ride aluminum handle bars. True, many carbon components are lighter than their aluminum counterparts, but not by much. When your job is to be at the front of the world's fastest races, durability is a much larger concern than shaving a few grams. At 260g (44cm), EC70 bars outweigh their carbon counterparts by a small handful of feathers. But you can ride easy, knowing that when your buddy tipped your bike over unloading it from the car, your handlebars didn't chip or crack.

At well under a Benjamin, the EA70 deliver great performance at a great price. Slightly flared drops. Width measured center to center (on drops). Oversized 31.8mm clamp surface. Limited 5-year warranty.

Note: The measured width is at the flared drops, so shift/brake hood placement will be noticeably narrower. We recommend getting a size larger than you would usually ride if you spend a lot of time riding on the hoods or the bar tops.
