Capo Retro Wool Cycling Cap

I was excited to order and receive this hat. It is the first Capo Forma product I bought. The wool is very thin almost like silk. It keeps my noggin warm riding in 48 degree rainy weather, but Im afraid it wont be much use below 40 degrees. Im glad the bill is not made from the hard plastic that many of the traditional cycling hats are made from. They tend to crack and break. This hat could use another layer of material or perhaps a thin foam layer in the bill. The coverage over the ears is good too. Some similar hats come to about mid ear, which is maddening. I dont plan to return the hat but I do think there are better similar hats for the money. Giordana, Rapha, Garneau to name a few. Based on my experience with this hat, I probably wont be buying any more Capo products which seem to have a low value high cost ratio.
