Continental Cyclocross Tire

Continental, I believe, is ahead of the curve in offering Monster Cross tires. They have numerous tires in 700x42. The cyclocross tire is a STEAL at this price. The tire has proven after around 2000 miles to be consistently durable, reliable and it grips like nobody's business. I am using these as extreme MudWinter tires on my La Cruz. They fit my frame perfectly but they are VERY wide...check your clearance and will take on any terrain I can throw at it. While I wouldn't take them on very technical singletrack, they are reat for anything else. I do pavement, mud, gravel, sand, snow, grass and everything in between on these. The downside? Yes, they are heavy. No surprise, you can't have it all. Your trail shoes will always look stupid paired with a suit. Get bover it.
