The World-class Continental Competition tubular. Vectran puncture protection layer made from liquid crystal polymer yarn five times stronger than steel but very light and supple to preserve ride quality. Max pressure is 12 bar (175 psi).

I wouldn't use any thing else.

I love this tire used it for years, and will continue to. Fantastic ride quality and grip. My fave.

Average

Its a garden hose. Unless they have revamped this tire considerably, it rides only average. It is fairly light, and conti tire can take pressure, but this tire is no Veloflex Record. It is durable and not a bad tire, just not a world class quality by any means.
