Description
Continental has introduced a Vectran breaker and Black Chili compound to the Attack/Force tire set. The tread design was also improved with water channels on the shoulders and a fast slick center tread. The front tire has a 22mm width for speed and cornering control while the 24mm width of the rear tire gives a bit more traction and durability where there is more weight from the rider.
The Black Chili compound uses smaller carbon particles which have more contact points for improved grip and the ability to form more easily around imperfections in the road surface for lower rolling resistance. The smaller particles also fit closer together for longer tread life. The Vectran breaker wards off flats but is also supple for less rolling resistance and greater comfort than other puncture resistant barriers. Front: 700x22 (190g). Rear: 700x24 (210g). 622 ISO. All black only.

Conti AF Dependability on the Road
For the miles the price is worth it, you could buy cheaper but the miles will not be there, on the Red Conti AF front 4-5k miles, rear 3k miles, they have been discontinued. Just bought the black chili compound and very smooth and great feel in the corners. You buy good tire and should expect good result and dependability and with Conti AF you get it

Great rid feel but very poor durability and pinch flats easily.
I bought a set of the Conti AF while on a ride in Huricane, Utah when my Vedestein Fortenza TriComps finally gave it up after nearly 3000 miles I ride 3-4Kyear. The shop said they were the best they had ever used with Exceptional grip in turns and very durable. I found them to be super as far as ride feel and cornering but thats where the good news Ends! Just 600 miles later the rear tire blew from wear in the middle of the tread about 2 inches long what a suprising disapointment. I also had several pinch flats in their short life only 1 in 3K from the TriComps. I am going to stay with the Verdesteins from Bike Tires Direct.

Good dependable Tires
I never worry when riding on these tires. They will not flat. 2K miles without a flat and then the back tire wore down to the vectran layer.
