Campagnolo 2008 Chorus QS Front Derailleur

The only change Campy has made to their Chorus gruppo for 2008 is in the front derailleur. They are now compatible with both compact and standard Campy cranksets. Basically the inner plate is more robust like a compact derailleur at the front and trimmed down in the rear more like a standard derailleur with no significant weight change. Alloy cage with anti-friction nickel-plating treatment. The main body has also been made stiffer for more accurate shifting.

With the QS (Quick Shift) design, you can now achieve front shifts more quickly with a lighter touch to the lever than in the past. The QS front derailleur is compatible with pre-2007 Ergopower shifters, though shifting between chainrings will require at least two lever pushes. Also, a pre-2007 (not QS) front derailleur is compatible with a QS Ergopower lever, though it will require a higher force to shift.

Available in Braze-on, 32mm clamp, or 35mm clamp. 85 grams (braze-on).
