Assos FI.Lady Short

The FI.Lady short carries on the Assos tradition of making the most sophisticated and highest performance cycling apparel available. Unlike most women's shorts, the Assos FI.Lady doesn't just replace the chamois with one designed for women - it incorporates many design features to make the short optimal for a women's body.

The FI.Lady is built with a 6-panel A.E.P.D. design utilizing DuPont ACFX compression spandex, the same material and design technique used in Assos' top-of-the-line FI.13 bibshorts. But of course, the Lady design is somewhat different to accommodate a women's body shape - wider in the hips, narrower in the waist, and shorter in the legs, to provide maximum comfort and performance.

One of the most unique features is the special waist design which utilizes a rear-only pulled elastic to keep the shorts in place without putting pressure on your abdomen, improving breathing and comfort over traditional designs.

The Elastic Interface Technology in the chamois allows it to stretch with the short and follow your skin as you pedal, eliminating irritation-causing friction. The chamois design is shaped and padded specifically for women to maximize comfort. The padding under the chamois outer layer uses memory foam which conforms to your body shape.
