Bike Fenders
Riding in the rain is no picnic, but a well-equipped rain bike will keep you rolling through the worst weather. Fenders are the first thing that come out of the closet when rain hits.
Unfortunately, fitting many bikes for fenders can be a bit tricky. Many road bikes are made without room for fenders. The SKS Race Blade attaches to the fork and seat stays allowing any road bike to become rain-worthy. Planet Bike Speedez Roadbike Fenders 35mm are another fender option for road bikes.
Street or touring bikes are easier to fit with "full fenders" like Planet Bike Speedez XL Fenders or Planet Bike Cascadia Fenders. These provide the best protection from the rain and are fairly simple to install on a compatible bike.
Providing the least amount of protection but the most convenience, clip-on fenders are great for riding through light or intermittent rain.
